The composition was commissioned as part of a new initiative by the Lithuanian Music Information Center, which then developed into a much larger project – an online platform called “Children’s Room” that contains dozens of new sheet music for beginners and advanced students.
”While working on this project, it was obvious that some composers are made to create music for children. For them, it seems, without much effort, a melody is born, which you want to continue humming in your mind, or a catchy rhythm pattern is “rolled out”. It is extremely important for children for the music to engage them and not let go. It then contributes to the enthusiasm of the little ones to learn and overcome more complex musical tasks”, commented project curator Eglė Bertašienė.
Composition is suitable for violin Grade 1 and above, and for Grade 3 piano player.
